Both of the songs are actually has a structured plot which makes the message of the song can be known easily by the listener. Moreover, the dictions are quiet easy to be understood except the word “clay” in both of the lyrics. I think it is too formal to use “clay” since the conept of the song is actually about love which the arrangement can be classified as a pop jazz which I conclude that it is an easy listening songs. And, for the dramatization on the second song, I felt quiet content since the way you show that you have surrendered to your hope is very natural as a man who is hurt by love.

Fadil, I like both of your songs. Their lyrics are very simple and easy to be understood by me as the listener. In the first song, I can see that the characterization of the boy is really emphasized by the lyrics. He is blinded by love that he will do everything to the girl whom he loves if he can be with her. It is seen by the repetition of “I want to be with you” in the song. Besides, the music of this song also describes the happy feeling of the boy who finds love in the girl.
In contrast with the first song, the second song tells about the boy’s feeling in which he is sad and broken-hearted because the girl whom he loves, does not love him. The melody of the music which is slow describes the sad feeling.

In “I Want to Be With You” you repeat the same lyric again and over again. You sing the lyric; “I want to be with you” and sing the other lyric and back to sing “I want to be with you again”. Mostly the other lyric in the song are interspersed by “I want to be with you” lyric. The pattern like this makes the lyric is important than other lyric. It’s making your purposes of your story delivered to the listeners, it’s very good. Because your story about the feeling of someone who is falling in love, I get the feeling of the character in your song lyric who want to describe her feeling and tell her crush that she want to be with him. So, your technique to deliver the feeling in the songs to the listeners is very good, I get it.
