The Happy Loner: A Poem

180410120040 / A

Summary: There is nothing wrong in waiting, there is nothing wrong in trying, and there is nothing wrong in leaving, even though it is tiring.

.

Is it wrong to be alone?

Is it wrong to be lonely?

Why does everybody always complain for being single?

Why does everybody always worry for being single?

She’s tired hearing everybody complains about her status

She’s getting bored to hear everybody offer her someone

Everybody asks her to get a man just to make sure she won’t feel blue

Everybody asks her to get a man just to make sure she will be happy

What would her do if she hasn’t found someone who makes she feels comfort yet?

What would her do if she hasn’t found someone who makes she feels happy yet?

What would her do if she hasn’t found someone who makes she feels safe yet?

What would her do if she hasn’t found someone who makes she feels being herself yet?

She’s not an airport where people can freely come and go

She’s not a kite which people can fly it high or fly it low

She’s not a bubble gum which people throw away after the sweetness is gone

She’s not an umbrella which people need only when it’s raining

Someone comes to make her feels comfortable at his pleasure

Someone comes to make her feels happy for his kindness and care

Someone comes to make her feels safe in his arms and words

Someone comes to make her feels like she’s the happiest girl in the world

He makes her like she’s the happiest girl in the world

He makes her like she’s so grateful to meet the best man ever

But,

She cannot keep her feeling for him

She cannot stand being around him

He deserves someone who always accompany him wherever he goes

He deserves someone who always be there for him whenever he needs

He deserves someone who always give him anything whatever he wishes

He deserves someone who has a same class with him

Why is this always happen to her?

Would she meet the man like him for the second time?

Should she move on?

Is this the best way to end the beautiful story of her life?

Remembering him is like giving a salt in your wound

Loving him is like flying in the clear blue sky

Missing him is like waiting for a long holiday

Forgetting him is like trying to find a needle in a pile of straw

Moving on is impossible for her

Moving on is harder than anyone knows

But…

She has to do it just to make sure he wouldn’t come to her life deeper

She has to be strong to make sure she will live a happy life

Well…

It is the better way to start her brighter future

It is the better way to end her comfort zone being a teen

Someday she will find a man who is match for her

Someday she will find a man whom she can be herself with

There is nothing wrong in waiting

There is nothing wrong in trying

There is nothing wrong in leaving

Even though it is tiring
